Release FlowVision 3.15.03 is an interim update that introduces some new features and improvements.
New abilities
- New option for VOF solver has been implemented: Transfer VOF by normal speed to surface. It reduces computational time by increasing the surface time step in simulations of two-phase media with a free surface. This option is recommended for steady-state problems. Its usage for unsteady problems is also possible in specific scenarios with additional adjustment.
- New variables have been added: TemperatureFreeSurface and HeatFluxFreeSurface. They can be used to display the temperature and heat flux correspondingly, for each of continuous phases separated by a free surface (VOF).
- Launch IOSO dialog box now includes the button for replacing geometry of computational domain.
Improvements
- The improved algorithm for calculating the magnetic vector potential has been implemented to satisfy the Coulomb gauge condition.
- Calculations on Solver have been accelerated by optimizing measurement unit systems.
- Use conservative speed option has been removed from the parameters of VOF solver
